I would like the website to be developed similar to www.123print.com. It will have
the choice of English and French at first. I will translate the French part of the
website, so when you create the “French” link, it can be in English and I can edit it
to French.
The website would be used for selling business cards. The website should be created
to allow for expansion of these categories, i.e. labels, letterheads, etc. It will
have a database of various industries categories and 1- 50 card images for each
category. The customers would have the ability to choose standard card images or
update their own details. The users will also be able to preview the card before
ordering or uploading their own artwork. They will also be able to save their card
design.
They will have various options like front / back printing, no. of color, fonts,
quality of cards to choose from and quantity to order. (see www.123print.com) All the
options combined determ Customer’s order information, the stage of the order, and payment details will be
stored as well. Customer should have facility to login and check status of their
order. Customers can repeat their order in future by selecting the order from past
and entering the quantity needed.
The website should have facility to generate promotion emails / newsletters. It
should allow to add categories / images / and more pages without development effort.
The site would have some information pages that I can add using a CMS feature.
The website would accept customer’s payment using credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, &
American Express.
The website should be developed in PhP / Mysql. You can use any standard open source
utilities like OsCommerce, Zencart etc. |
